Our winter has finally began! Deep Creek Lake received over 25 inches this past weekend of heavy, beautiful snow. Saturday was a perfect day for sleigh riding and snowball fights. The evergreens were all hanging low with the heavy snow - what a beautiful sight!
The ski slopes are open with 16 trails and the tubing park opened this past weekend. Snow is in the forcast for the next couple of days - so it looks like Deep Creek Lake will be having a White Christmas.
